Frequently asked questions
Customisation, content, lead time, shipping and how to start a project.
Before you specify
Every Lumivue system is configured against the real space. If your question is not here, send it with the quote form.
Ask a question →01What products does Lumivue supply?
Three families: 3D holographic display cases, interactive sliding rail screens and transparent LCD showcases. Each is supplied as a configurable system with cabinet, display panel, media player and mounting hardware.
02Can sizes, finishes and touch options be customised?
Yes. Panel size, cabinet dimensions, frame colour, glass, touch overlay, media player and mounting are configured per project. Send the available space and the display goal and we will return a layout proposal.
03Do you produce the 3D hologram content?
We supply content templates, a production guide and the correct loop format for the chosen pyramid. Full bespoke 3D animation can be scoped separately.
04What is a typical lead time?
It depends on the configuration and the project schedule. Standard configurations are assembled from stocked modules; custom cabinet sizes, curved rails and tiled transparent panels need an engineering drawing first. Ask for a current schedule with your enquiry.
05How is a sliding rail screen powered and controlled?
The rail carries a concealed power and data channel. Position markers tell the media player which asset to show, and the carriage can be manual or motorised with soft start and stop.
06Can the displays run without an internet connection?
Yes. All three product families can run local loops from the integrated media player. Network CMS, remote scheduling and external HDMI sources are optional.
07Are the cabinets secure enough for valuable exhibits?
Transparent and holographic cabinets can be specified with lockable doors, tempered glass and concealed fixings. High-value exhibits should also use the venue’s own security and insurance arrangements.
08What is included in a quotation?
A configuration list, indicative specifications, a layout drawing where needed, packing method and delivery terms. Content production, installation travel and on-site rigging are quoted as separate line items when required.
09Do you ship internationally?
Systems are packed for road, air or sea freight and the crate dimensions, weight and power requirements are confirmed before dispatch. Tell us the destination so the packing and voltage can be matched.
10How do I start a project?
Use the quote form: select the product family, add the approximate size and the venue type, and describe what the display needs to do. Drawings or photos of the space help us propose the right configuration.
Tell us about your display project
Share the space, the product family and the viewing goal. We will come back with a configuration, indicative specification and a layout proposal.
