Buyer's Guide to Holographic Display Cases
Viewing angles, cabinet sizes, content formats and lighting: what to specify before you order a 3D hologram showcase.
Start with the viewing angle
A 180° pyramid suits a wall or counter with one approach direction. A 270° showcase works on an open floor with three approaches, and a 360° four-sided pyramid belongs on a central island where visitors walk all the way around.
Match the cabinet to the object
The physical exhibit sits on the base plate, so measure its height and footprint before choosing the display size. Leave enough depth for lighting and for the object to read clearly behind the projected image.
Specify the content format early
Pyramid holograms need content on a black background, most often with four mirrored views. Confirm loop length, audio, resolution and frame rate before the cabinet dimensions are frozen.
Control the ambient light
High-brightness panels help, but direct spotlights on the glass reduce contrast. Plan the ceiling lighting together with the cabinet position.
